Apple Blossom Festival – 7th Annual Apple Blossom Festival will have lots for everyone including the Ayton Lioness Club presents Farm Show
Includes anything to do with Farming!, Arts & Crafts Show, Go Green Show, Health & Wellness Show, Food Booths, farm fur & feather show and lots of additional fun for the kiddies.
Waterfront Festival – 10th Annual spring line-up will present live bands from a variety of genres. For your added enjoyment, free outdoor entertainment will be brought to the table: street buskers, a midway with rides, face painting, street vendors, fresh food, treats and contests. Don’t miss this weekend with your family; eat, drink and have fun while sharing in Barrie’s terrific community spirit. The kids will love the fun zone and midway too!
Honey & Garden Festival – With over 170 vendors attending, and free admission, its the biggest and best yet! There will be a Classic Car and Truck Show, Fun zone for the kids, live entertainment and bring your appetite for the many food vendors!
Doors Open – 2014 features 39 sites in 12 communities with something for everyone to enjoy. A local brochure for the event can be picked up at any participating site or at Brockville Tourism (10 Market Street West). If you come for Doors Open Brockville-Thousand Islands, be sure to fill out an entry form to win a prize basket of contributions from the participating sites
Biodiversity Day @ RBG – There is no better place to celebrate the diversity of life than Royal Botanical Gardens, one of Ontario’s Biodiversity Hotspots! Join us for a day of exploration and hands-on fun with local animals, plants and ecosystems. Children’s activities, special visitors from the animal kingdom, guided hikes and much more await visitors on this activity-packed celebration of International Biodiversity Day!

Retrofest – Join us for the 12th annual RetroFest ™ celebration, May 23 and 24 in the “Classic Car Capitol of Canada,” Chatham, Ontario. In what is sure to be another great year for Retrofest ™ events. There will be hundreds of collector cars gather on the streets of Chatham’s historic downtown core. Apple Blosson Tyme Festival – A fun and friendly community festival in the village of Colborne that happens on the last weekend in May each year. The festival welcomes everyone to experience the village and surrounding area in springtime, when there are wonderful apple orchards with beautiful and fragrant blossoms to enjoy. Dandelion Festival – Discover Our Roots! The Dandelion Festival is North Grenville’s premiere arts and culture festival. The three-day event in celebrates the best of the areas arts, culture, food, music and heritage.
Bike Rodeo @ Milton Sports Centre – The participants will learn the rules of the road and bicycle handling as well as have their bike checked out by knowledgeable bike enthusiasts and have minor adjustments done on site at no charge. Each participant completing the course successfully will be given a certificate of completion and a goodie bag with additional information and coupons from participating businesses in our community.
Carassauga -The 29th annual Carassauga will highlight 72 cultures in the city with over 30 pavilions. This second-largest multicultural festival in Canada will feature entertainment, food, KidZone, games and so much more!

Doors Open – Visit Orillia’s historical downtown – a treasure trove of historical, architectural and cultural sites that can be explored on your own or as part of a guided walking tour. Mississaga Street will be closed for the day, filled with live entertainment, children’s activities and street vendors.
Tap Into Maple – A unique family adventure all about MAPLE in Ontario’s Lake Country from March 1st – May 31st. Located in Central Ontario and only a short drive from the GTA, Ontario’s Lake Country and Springwater are the perfect place for maple trees, and celebrating all things maple. Some of the local maple syrup producers have been harvesting the sap for over 100 years. World Fish Migration Day @ Toronto Zoo – Visit the America’s Pavilion and learn about the Toronto Zoo’s important Atlantic salmon rear and release program involvement with local schools! Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating life travels of the native American eel. Join the Toronto’s Zoo Great Lakes Outreach Program, which is a FREE, curriculum-based education program that encourages students, educators and families to “Keep our Great Lakes Great” while learning about five local fish species at risk!
CCFEW Spring Bird Festival @ Humber Arboretum – Enjoy a morning of guided bird walks, live birds, reptiles and amphibians, backyard habitat building, art workshops, children’s activities, and educational displays. The festival is located at the southern end of the park. Bird walks are hourly, beginning at 9am. They will be running the children’s activities booth at this great event but it is ideal for everyone. Young, old experinced or inexperienced. Best part about it, it’s FREE.
Doors Open – The 15th Doors Open Toronto, presented by Great Gulf, returns this year with more than 155 architecturally, historically, culturally and socially significant buildings across the city. The theme for this year’s event is Secrets and Spirits … Exploring the Mysteries Behind the Door – which focuses on secret spaces and stories from all over Toronto. This year’s event will include architectural and ghostly walking tours, the Doors Open Speakers Series, art exhibits at various secret spaces across the city and more than 40 new building additions
Cruzin’ On the Square – Cruzin’ on the Square is back for the third year! Come see classic cars, and listen to live entertainment in the Waterloo Public Square. This event will feature classic and specialty cars, vendors, activities and live entertainment
