Garlic Festival – Perth Garlic Festival is a celebration to the ‘stinking rose’. International Powerboat Show – This is an all-ages three (3) day outdoor festival with over 35,000 people in attendance. Ontario Family Fishing Events is a province-wide opportunity for Canadian residents to fish Ontario waters without the otherwise mandatory fishing version outdoors card.  On July 5-12, 2015, events such as festivals, clinics, derbies and workshops are hosted across the province. This free event sees families circulate through stations such as: Fabulous Fish; Amazing Aquatic Bugs; Fishy Escapades; and Beautiful Duffins Creek.  The day is a fun outdoor event and will provide opportunities to learn more about Duffins Creek while teaching others about this amazing watershed.

Aurora

Chamber Street Festival – The Aurora Chamber Street Festival is a fun-filled family event for all ages with over 500 vendors, fantastic “Street Performers”, music, food galore and so much more. It is held annually the first Sunday in June in Aurora.

Barrie

Celebrate Barrie – The City of Barrie presents Celebrate Barrie, our 16th annual community celebration, on Saturday June 6th at Centennial Park. The festivities feature FREE fun for all ages including rides and inflatables, petting zoo, educational displays, heritage village and re-enactments, local entertainment, over 50 community groups providing hands-on activities for kids, and so much more.

Wing Ding – This event captures the very essence of the meaning of Wing Ding! We are celebrating the beginning of summer with community, family, friends, neighbours, and visitors from all over Ontario!  The past two years we have had over 100 Vendors attend our event!

Dundas

Dundas International Buskerfest – Ladies and Gentlemen, Children of all ages; come one come all, step right up – see the marvels, witness the wonders, feel the excitement of the greatest show on Earth!  Buskerfest is a celebration of some of the hardest working folk in showbiz; acrobatics, juggling, breakdancing, music, comedy, sideshow stunts…all out on the street working for gratuities! 35th Annual Greek Food Festival – Eat,Drink, Dance… OPA!Come be Greek for a day. We are celebrating our 35th annual Greek festival showcasing our Greek culture and cuisine. Admission is $2.00 at the door. Children under 12 are free. So are you with non perishable food item donations for our local food bank. There will be live entertainment, children area, dance performers. All takes place at our community center at 527 Bridgeport Road E. on June 6th & 7th

Street Festival – (Saturday) The Milton downtown core will be shut down so you can get down and have some fun with the family.  Starting at noon, the Street Festival will feature a wide variety of activities. Blackburn Fun Fair – Blackburn Hamlet’s Annual Community fair established in 1971 is a few days of community events, a small midway, games, fun for kids as well as all day live music from noon to midnight on the Saturday including licensed beer garden.

Art in the Park – During the Art in the Park you will enjoy viewing over 275 artists and artisans from around Ontario, Quebec and the State of Michigan who have come to display and retail their wares. With the addition of our Friday night launch party AIP has moved a higher class of engaging art and entertainment. Art in the Park is the only 360 degree family event in Essex County where the whole family can enjoy many elements or artisitc pleasures. We even have something for the kids.

North Lanark Highland Games – Celebrate the Scottish culture and heritage of the Ottawa Valley at the 31st annual North Lanark Highland Games.  There will be twenty pipe bands, a hundred dancers and champion heavyweight athletes combine to present what is recognized as one of the Ottawa valley’s premier summer events.

Barrie

Barrie Fair – Our 2014 Fair will continue in this tradition by hosting judged events of livestock, horses, and home crafts.
