Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is coming to Ontario

Making a difference, one stop at a time

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train hits the rails again on November 28th and will be visiting communities across our Ontario. Each event features a boxcar stage, a lineup of great musical talent and a contribution to the local food bank. Everyone who attends is encouraged to donate food and money which stays in their community.  For a list of when the Holiday Train hits a community near you check here

Fantasy of Lights – November 15th – January 7th -The 22nd Annual Kingsville Fantasy of Lights Festival has an outstanding line up of entertainment for the whole family. Lowe’s Toronto Christmas Market – This holiday season Toronto will once again celebrate the romance and magic of a traditional Christmas at Lowe’s Toronto Christmas Market. Inspired by the Old World and influenced by the New, this free annual event captures all of the tradition, heritage and charm of a European Christmas Market, while showcasing hundreds of unique and local handcrafted products. Family friendly entertainment includes musicians, carolers and children’s choirs.

Cavalcade of Lights – Celebration of the 48th annual Cavalcade of Lights featuring the illumination of Toronto’s official Christmas tree, performances by some of Canada’s top musical talent, a brilliant fireworks show and a skating party at Nathan Phillips Square, the festive event is a holiday tradition in Toronto.

One of a Kind Show and Sale@ Direct Energy Centre – Everything sold at the show is made by hand in North America by Canadian and/or American artisans.  The Christmas Show features handmade designs by over 800 artists, makers, designers and craftspeople.

Wasaga Beach

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony – The annual lighting of the tree is a fun family evening including: Hot chocolate, Christmas Carols lead by the Prime Time Singers, count down to Tree Lighting and a visit from Santa Claus!

Santa Arrives By Helicopter at Burlington Mall – Santa will arrive by helicopter at Burlington Mall on Saturday, November 16 at 10 a.m., touching down in the south parking lot along Prospect St. There will be free hot chocolate and gifts for the first 1,200 children as well as live entertainment in the parking lot and a lively parade through the mall to Santa’s cabin, led by the Tartan Terrors. Once settled in to his cabin Santa will be available for photos until 6 p.m. that day.
